What is Trunk or Treat?
Trunk or Treat is when families park their cars in a row in the parking lot, and decorate their open trunks with a Halloween theme, and pass out candy and have a fun game for kids to try. Any interested families who want to participate by decorating their trunks and passing out candy, please fill out this Sign up Genius. Set-up for Trunk or treat will start at 6pm on October 18th, at the upper parking lot next to the rec center. The festivities start at 6:15 and go until about 6:35 to give any latecomers a chance to enjoy. Please be prepared to stay at your trunks to pass out treats (prepackaged items only) and then of short games that can be sanitized with wipes in between players or hands free.

Year Long Community Service Opportunities

10/9/2021

The Dimond Park clean up is starting! Come join us on October 10th, this Sunday at Dimond Park from 2:00-4:00pm. Come clean up the park with friends and family, have fun and support the community! All clean-up supplies will be provided. Also to remember Oak Town 4-H is supporting Dimond Recreation's Little Free Library, helping the child reading program, so if you have any kids' books you do not use anymore, bring them to our monthly meeting and drop them in the box. The community thanks you!

     - Community Service Officer, Mira Sawtelle

We are taking sign-ups for a coordinator and several assistant families each month in a Signup Genius. Please sign up to help us to keep Dimond Park clean!
