Gardening Project

10/2/2016

Today we had our first Gardening project meeting. We figured out what to plant for the winter. We seeded paper towel squares with carrot, beet, radish, lettuce, kale and spinach seeds and planted them. When we planted them we found lots of worms. We picked cherry tomatoes and pumpkins. We won $108 from the Fair from our project group entries, mainly for window boxes and wine barrel gardens. We are planning on using the award money for awards at Garden Field Day this spring.
