About OakTown 4-H

There are over a dozen 4-H Clubs in Alameda County, but until now, access was difficult for youth living in northern Alameda County. The OakTown Club is fortunate to have its home base at Dimond Recreation Center conveniently located between Highways 580 and 13 off Fruitvale Ave.

We are currently enrolling adult volunteers and will begin enrolling members for the 2014–15 school year in September. We welcome your input and energy as we bring this new group to fruition. Please use the contact page to volunteer today!

In 4-H, we strive to help youth reach their fullest potential by developing youth leadership, life skills and citizenship. This is achieved through hands-on project-based learning. Communication and Community Service are hallmarks of 4-H.
