Oak Town 4-H Registration Guide and Checklist

Enrollments for Oak Town 4-H will be taken at the September club meeting. At that time the following is due:

  1. Online enrollment (visit https://california.4honline.com  to register. Detailed instructions for the registration process are included in this packet).  This should be completed BEFORE the September Oak Town 4-H Club meeting. *NOTE: signing up for at least one project online is required by the system. However the online project you pick is not guaranteed. All steps for enrollment must be completed before projects can be confirmed.
  2. Completing: Youth and Adult Treatment Authorization Forms are completed during online enrollment. Print  multiple copies so you have one copy for the club to turn in at enrollment and one copy for each project the members wished to participate in.  
  3. Completing: Alameda County 4-H Member Agreement. One for each family, must include signatures from all youth members and adult members, and one guardian if no adult members in the family.
  4. Completing: OakTown 4-H Member & Family Expectations Form  At least one adult guardian must sign the child's form and EACH youth member enrolling must complete an individual form.
  5. Volunteering for a task for your family: .signupgenius
  6. Pay fees of $69 per youth and $16 per adult volunteer payable to “OakTown 4-H”.

  8. When all forms and fees and volunteer family sign up is complete, fill out the Project Selection Form

To Enroll on california.4honline

​After 4-H registration is complete Project Sign-Ups will be accepted. You may turn your Project Selection Form* with your enrollment forms at the September meeting but it will not be considered until all components of the enrollment are complete. Youth members whose registration was completed BY October club meeting will be given preference for their project choices.  Those completing registration on or after mid-October will be accommodated as space permits in the order in which the completed registration is received.
  • Please note some projects have age requirements
  • Youth may not participate in projects until their registration process is complete. 
  • Click on “I need to set up a profile”
  • Make sure it says Alameda County
  • Enter your email address
  • Confirm your email address
  • Type in your last name
  • Type in a password for your family to use
  • Confirm this password, keep password as you will use every year to register your child/family
  • Role: Family
  • Click on “Create Login”

8/15/17: Registration forms and documents available
8/15/17 Family Volunteer Tasks Sign-Up available at signupgenius (link to be posted)
8/1/17- 10/15/17: ADULT Volunteers complete Online Enrollment
9/1/17: Youth Member Online Enrollment available
9/11/17: Registration forms and fees taken at Oak Town 4-H Club Meeting
10/1/17-10/10/17-Project Sign-Up survey available to those with completed registrations
10/11-10/31/17: Project Sign-Ups will continue until projects are full.
