OakTown 4-H Welcomes You!
Oak Town 4-H is an inclusive, co-ed community club that serves youths, 5-19 years old, in Oakland, CA. As a University of CA 4-H Youth Development Program, we use a hands on approach to enable youth to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills they need to become competent, caring and contributing citizens of the world. In doing so, Oak Town 4-H offers youth led community meetings and screened adult volunteer led projects as opportunities for youth to explore different interests and utilize skills in leadership, public speaking, teamwork, healthy living, community awareness and service, as well as make friends and have fun.
This is accomplished by using the knowledge and resources of our amazing volunteer project leaders.
