November New Member Welcome Packs and Continuing Member Recognition
At the November Oak Town 4-H Club Meeting we presented "Welcome" packs to our NEW Members and some awards from the 2024-2025 4-H Year to some continuing Members. If you were not at the November meeting you can pick these up at the January Club Meeting.

NEW Oak Town 4-H Projects for Late Winter/Spring!
With the advent of 2026 we are ready to welcome a new batch of winter/spring OT4H Projects. Some of these have special articles submitted to this Blast and some may not. But, if you haven't already registered for one of these new Projects and want to add it to your 4-H Project schedule, please reach out to Oaktown4h@gmail along with the Project Leader to ask if there is still room to join!
  • Robotics (All ages) Beginning 4th Sunday afternoon in January. Leader: Michelle/ [email protected]
  • Food  Art (12+) Beginning January 25, 2pm. Leader: Barbara ([email protected])/Jolene ([email protected])
  • Gardening (All ages) Beginning 3/8 2:30pm, mostly twice a month through mid-June. Leader: Barbara/[email protected])
  • Ice Cream (10+) Start date tbd. Leader: Amanda/ [email protected]) 
  • Camping TBD with final overnight camp May of early June Leader: Daisy/[email protected]
LEAP (Leadership Engagement with Awesome People!) Conference for ALL Parents and Adult Volunteers!
The 4th annual LEAP Conference scheduled for Janary 24th 9am -4pm is open for enrollment. ALL parents and volunteers are invited to attend. Teens 12+ are invited to participate as Camp Counselors for the younger members Day Camp. Topics for adults include Conflict Tools for Volunteers, Parents: A Valuable Resource, Different Doesn't Mean Difficult, Supporting Positive Behavior, Meetings Matter, 4-H Policy, Record Books and Achievement: How are We Doing? and more. This is a great opportunity for learning within the 4-H community and networking with leaders, parents and teens across our 4-H Region. Adult registration. Teen Counselor registration.
